‘Lockdown Time’ is the video equivalent of an art installation that captures the essence of the transformation of urban life during the times of the pandemic. Introduced by its creator Pierre Ajavon, as a dreamlike stroll during the Covid era, ‘Lockdown times’ is an audio-visual extravaganza that handpicks key elements of the change that the virus has brought about in the world. As we walk down this street on our stroll, we notice the changes in the urban landscape around us. ‘Lockdown Time’ is an artist’s impression of these observation created by a master of ‘Pop’ imagery and music visualization.
Keeping the virus at the centre of the activity throughout the length of the stroll, Ajavon recalls the extended duration of time people have stayed locked indoors. The daily commute in the metro is replaced by rides down the digital highway and as we stay glued to multiple screens for work and pleasure, the reign of the virus is not yet over. The techno-inspired background score accentuates the reality of digital adoption gaining traction in every single activity we undertake during these times. As the virus continues to control the tides, here is to hope that the tides change soon.
